Belfast Strategic Partnership through ‘Have Your Say Belfast 2016’ seeks views from people living in the city in regards to their emotional health and wellbeing, and that of their family and wider community. The results of the survey will inform future developments to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Belfast. CLARE celebrates winning the 2015 WHO Belfast Healthy City Award under the Engaging for Change category presented in Belfast by Deputy Lord Mayor, Cllr. Guy Spence. The awards were introduced to celebrate the contribution of organisations from all sectors to the health and wellbeing of the people of Belfast. CLARE is a great example of how local people can positively contribute to making Belfast a healthier place. A big thanks to all our community champion volunteers who make it possible.
Belfast HSCT Integrated Care Team and CLARE are delighted to have received the BHSCT Chairman’s Award for 1st place under the ‘Cutting Edge’ category. It is a great honour to receive the award and a prize of £10, 000 to jointly re-invest in the service. CLARE is actively recruiting volunteers interested in becoming arts and crafts befrienders. We have been successful in the recent Take 5 small grants awards supported by Public Health Agency and the Clear Project to deliver a creative crafts befriending project. If you are a caring, enthusiastic person with an interest in arts and crafts then we need your help to bring the joy of art to isolated older people.
